I believe strong design is built in the details—where strategy meets structure, and precision turns ideas into results.
Growing up in my family’s print shop gave me an early appreciation for production, process, and the discipline behind great design. For me, production work has always been therapeutic—solving problems, refining layouts, perfecting typography, and bringing order to complexity is where I thrive.
With a background in architecture and a BFA in Graphic and Web Design from The Art Institute of Dallas, I bring both systems thinking and creative execution to every project. My experience spans corporate creative teams, freelance consulting, and high-volume production environments across print and digital platforms.
I’m equally comfortable developing concepts, preparing press-ready files, managing revisions, and ensuring every final detail is right. I also naturally step into mentoring roles—helping junior designers strengthen production skills, improve file organization, and understand the why behind strong design decisions. Training teams on workflow efficiency and best practices has been a consistent part of my career, including building DAM systems and SOPs, as well as training creative teams on asset management processes.
I’m also the author of Everything You Never Wanted to Know About Color, where I help simplify complex design principles into practical, usable tools.

I grew up in my family’s print shop, surrounded by ink, paper, and the precision required to bring ideas from concept to press. That early experience taught me that great design isn’t just creative—it’s crafted, intentional, and built to perform in the real world.
Later studies in architecture sharpened my understanding of structure, hierarchy, and systems thinking, principles that continue to shape how I approach brand development, marketing campaigns, and visual communication across print and digital platforms.
My career has included corporate creative teams, freelance consulting, and mission-driven work. During two years as a missionary in Honduras, I created illustrations for a deaf student curriculum—an experience that reinforced my belief that clarity and accessibility are at the heart of effective communication.
Although much of my early experience was self-taught through hands-on work, I later earned my BFA in Graphic and Web Design from The Art Institute of Dallas in 2021. Today I bring strategic thinking, production expertise, and collaborative problem-solving to every project.
I’m also the author of Everything You Never Wanted to Know About Color, where I translate complex color systems into practical understanding for designers, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals.
The ladybug in my logo is a playful nod to my last name, Bugh. Its forward-facing direction represents forward-thinking design, while the looping trails reflect a path that hasn’t always been linear, but has consistently moved toward growth and refinement.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, gaming, singing in a choir, and connecting with friends over coffee or a glass of wine.
